Undermining Conservapedia... the TK Way

This is a really short post, but it's suddenly dawned on me, what a good job Terry Koeckritz is doing of undermining Andrew Schlafly's little Conservapedia hobby (besides blocking every editor who trys to add something constructive to the site).

Some background info first. In March 2009, long-time editor and administrator, Philip Rayment, finally decided he'd had enough of the nonsense at CP (especially the monstrosity that is the Obama article, as well as Andy branding him a liberal, for not agreeing 100% with Andy's views on gun control) . Philip packed his bags and left to start his own wiki - A Storehouse of Knowledge. At the same time, he posted a very detailed and accurate breakdown of his problems with Conservapedia... singling out Andy, Ed Poor and Terry for much deserved criticism. I won't go into his complaints here, but you can read them here.

Needless to say, Andy and Terry squealed like stuck pigs and bleated mournfully about all Rayment's "lies" - which of course they aren't. Still, time passed and the dust settled... until three months later, when Terry Koeckritz suddenly deletes the CP article for ASoK. Doing that alone, would have been ok, but no. Idiot boy has to go and make a comment too, saying "We will not have an article here so long as it attacks CP's owner and Admins with lies."

This immediately sent editors scurrying to ASoK to find out what was meant and what Rayment had written, thus exposing Andy's (and Terry's) deceit and stupidity to a whole new bunch of editors.

But then we wouldn't expect anything less from Terry... bringing down community sites is what he does. Just ask the people at Hot or Not (and what a Conservapedia admin is doing there in the first place, beats me).

It used to have a sense of "community" once upon a time, people would chat via their user pages - but Terry has effectively put an end to that - all communication must go through him. However, in the 7 months since Andy sysopped him, it's amazing just how the site has fallen apart.

Didn't people joke there once? Look at that guy the other day trying to have fun with TK creating a fake you have message box, he was blocked for it.

Exactly! Unfortunately (or fortunately for them) all those people seem to have moved (or been moved, rather) on - people like WesleyS, CPalmer (who is still around occasionally, as his 'list of favourite users' gets whittled down by TK) and former sysop JessicaT. She, of course, had to go, because she clearly saw through TK's bullshit from early on and wouldn't let him get away with it. Of course, as much as I delight in pointing out what Terry is up to, I have no sympathy for Andy and what's left of CP - he bought TK back into the fold and has since done nothing to moderate his behaviour. Then again, he also encouraged people like Bugler and RodWeathers, so he deserves everything that comes to him.
But at the moment, there is no sense of community on CP - only a few (probably non-genuine anyway) editors waiting to get banned and TK and JPratt (who is getting worse and more deserving of a write up soon) swaggering around.
